WANT HONESTY & REAL PRODUCT REVIEWS?
There are so many plant-based foods out there now and who knows which ones are worth trying. I have decided to start posting the foods I try and giving my HONEST review. I feel like everything we search on the Internet is a paid advertisement. Well, that does me no good at all, so I'm guessing you might feel the same.
Here are some of the foods I love and some new ones I have tried this month.
JUST Egg .... Yes Yes Yes!

This comes in liquid form which contains NO OIL or in the patty form for sandwiches. It's what we use on the truck and EVERYONE seems to love it! Made with Beans! I make quiches and omelets with the liquid version. There's even a place in South Tahoe that offers omelets with Just instead of real egg.
PLANET OAT OATMILK (Original)

Closest to the real thing I can find that does NOT CONTAIN OIL or SUGAR. The Extra Creamy version contains oil to give it the extra thickness. Most of the milks contain a variety of oils and sugars. Not my thing ... I stopped drinking dairy milk to get the fat out of my blood, not put it in. This stuff is awesome! They even sell it in the non-refrigerated section; however, it is a different consistency and taste.
GOOD FOODS ROASTED GARLIC DIP

I tried this for the first time today. Not bad. The roasted garlic flavoring is fantastic. The consistency could use a little help but nothing too funky. I put it on triscuits and dipped veggies in it -- liked it. Could see me putting it in a plain sauce to flavor it up for pasta or to top of on cooked veggies.
FIELD ROAST ITALIAN SAUSAGE

I like most everything Field Roast offers. (Especially the Thanksgiving Roast & Gravy). This sausage comes in a sweet flavor, Apple & Sage, and in the Italian Garlic & Fennel. I like this one better than the other because of the outstanding spices. I like to make Pasta Bolognese and I use different sausages and ground meats. This one stands out based on flavor and moist consistency. The downfall to me, there is a lot of oil in this sausage.
NUTS FOR CHEESE GOUDA WEDGE

I tried this for the first (and last) time today. This just wasn't it. The flavor was not like Gouda at all, the consistency was soft, but the 'fermented' smell -- was HORRIBLE. Cute packaging tho. Not recommended.

MIYOKO'S FISH FREE LOX CREAM CHEESE (FIRM)

Well, you really can't go wrong with Miyoko's. Everything she makes is pretty much incredible. This cream cheese has a strong flavor and is more firm. I miss my bagels and lox, so this is my alternative; however, I enjoy her whipped cream cheeses better. I really like that you can find a lot of her products without oil and still have lots of flavor. Sometimes they have a bit too much flavor, so you can always mix them in a processor with milk or cashews/water to make them easier to spread.
WAYFARE SOUR CREAM AND CHEDDAR

NOT IT! The sour cream has a funky taste to it and the cheddar just tastes like coconut oil. It spreads great but makes you feel like you are eating margarine. I do not think I would be their products again.

CHAO CHEESE

All the cheeses (except for the ones I make) have coconut oil. Most of them taste like coconut oil -- no flavor. Field Roast does a good job making this actually have flavor. Creamy and fantastic for Mac & Cheese. Its what we use on the truck.
MIYOKO'S BUTTER

Again, You really can't go wrong with Miyoko's I'm not really a fan of anything with oils, but when you need an alternative to butter - this one and Oat Milk butter are my favorite. This one is more for cooking and the Oat Milk butter is more for spreading.

SILK DARK CHOCOLATE COCONUT YOGURT

OH MY! This stuff is absolutely INCREDIBLE! I have put this is in mini graham cracker pie cups with fresh raspberries, vegan cool whip, and carob chips. It was a great Valentine's dessert! This stuff is worth midnight fridge hunting for.
COSTCO OAT MILK

I'm pretty strange about my milk. I have always been an avid milk drinker. This milk is good for mixing in soups and sauces; however, it's not totally my favorite to drink all the time. It's on the sweet side for me so I like it more as a dessert type of drink if I have it by itself. The consistency is a little thin but not as thin as almond milk.

KITEHILL SPREADABLE CHEESES

Kitehill is another company you just can't seem to go wrong with. The cream cheese is flavorful and has no oil. The caramelized onion is a newer product for me but like it just the same. A sweeter taste than the Chive cream cheese - which would be expected. The consistency is perfect.

I will check in within the next few weeks with so more product reviews. Feel free to email me if you have any questions about any specific products. Remember, I am just giving my opinion and we all have different tastes. What's awesome to me may not be awesome to you.
Also, let me know as you try some GREAT or not so great products, so I can share with others!
